In the words of Bishop David Oyedepo, “you don’t grow big to manage well instead you manage well to grow big. This means that you must manage the resources and time available to you well to grow big. Life as we’ll know is a one-time adventure happening in time and is designed to provide us opportunities for growth and development. Interestingly we do not experience growth nor maximize the use the opportunities at our disposal effectively and maximally until we start managing our opportunities, resources and time very well enough to accommodate growth.
This is the basic limitation of many people today. We accuse other people and factors in our lives for the inconveniences we experience but lay little or no attention to the major problem we must solve to attain a rapid rate of growth. Growth is only possible we have proven capable of sustaining the effects and situations it brings through our management of present opportunities, resources and time effectively. It’s okay not to be perfect but to remain at the same level of imperfection is antigrowth and no one grows holding unto imperfections and deficiencies. We must learn to manage ourselves well to grow into the best versions of our lives.
